Inspiration and leadership best describe the collegiate life of Estrella Mountain Community College sophomore Sean Collins.

After moving from California to Arizona, Collins chose to pursue the dream of obtaining a college degree. He will be the first in his family to do so as he works towards an Associate of Arts degree in Business. And if the busy academic schedule of maintaining a 3.3 GPA isn’t enough, Collins is a campus student ambassador and works in Student Enrollment Services.

Collins plans to transfer to Arizona State University and dreams of owning his own restaurant.

“I would like to thank everyone who made receiving this scholarship possible. I appreciate being given this wonderful opportunity. Receiving this scholarship has given me a great deal of dignity, pride and determination to continue my studies. It has helped tremendously with the financial burden of my education. I am most grateful to the West Valley Auto Alliance.”
