One-Stop Scholarship


After 21 years of marriage and raising four children, two of whom are also in college, Regina Martinez decided to continue her education and enrolled at Estrella Mountain in the fall of 2008. She will earn an Associate in Science this semester and then transfer to the Engineering Program at Arizona State University.

“My career goal is to become a Bio Medical Engineer. As a returning student there are many challenges to overcome – fear, self-doubt, time management and finances – to name a few. The staff and faculty helped me to overcome each obstacle by providing encouragement, advice and awarding me financial support in the form of scholarships, which I am most grateful.”
